We’re looking for Members to join our Member Ambassador Program
The first group of Trico’s Member Ambassador Program (MAP) was so successful that we’ve decided to offer it again in 2026.
What is MAP?
MAP consists of four sessions held throughout the year, each designed to educate Members on key topics related to Trico’s history, operations, and strategic direction. Sessions include:
- Cooperative 101 and Tour: Learn about Trico’s history, mission, and power supply, including tours of key facilities such as the Avion Solar and Battery Storage Site.
- Trico Hot Topics: Discuss governance, industry trends, and safety with tours of Trico HQ and our Dispatch Center.
- Apache Generating Station Tour: Explore Trico’s power supply first-hand at this critical generating station.
- Hot Topics & Appreciation Luncheon: Delve into topics like the energy transition, rate structures, and cybersecurity, followed by a special luncheon.
Why participate?
MAP offers a unique chance to deepen your understanding of Trico’s role in the community, sustainability efforts, and the energy industry. Participants will leave with the knowledge and tools to advocate for Trico and its initiatives, both within their communities and beyond.
How to apply
Applications are available here. The deadline to apply is March 20, 2026 at 4 p.m. Selections will be announced during Trico’s Annual Membership Meeting on April 18, 2026. The first session begins in May. The program is open to 20‑30 Members, or their dependents, with a focus on geographic and demographic diversity.
All sessions will be held at Trico’s headquarters in Marana. Buses will be provided for off-site tours.
Session Dates:
- Session 1: May 5, 2026
- Session 2: August 18, 2026
- Session 3: November 17, 2026
- Session 4: February 2, 2027
Expectations
Participants are expected to attend all four sessions, engage in key Trico events, and serve as ambassadors for the cooperative.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn, engage, and advocate for Trico. We look forward to welcoming the next group of MAP members!
