Modifying Service
We Love An Upgrade

Trico offers the following services for modifying existing commercial facilities:

  • Service upgrades
  • Service relocation
  • Repairs to service panel or pedestal
  • Remove existing service or other facilities
  • Covert facilities to above ground or underground

MODIFYING EXISTING SERVICE

Requirements, rules, and regulations

Some or all of these may be applicable, depending on your request.

  • Provide service entrance equipment.
  • Excavation, Backfill, and Conduit Installation.
  • Contact AZ811 before digging.
  • Identify new meter location.
  • Identify property corners.
  • Obtain easements (if required).
  • Complete Trico Interconnection Agreement (Backup Generator).
  • Obtain permits from proper Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). View contact info below.

Before work can be undertaken, Trico applicants need to obtain permits from proper Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ):

*NOTE: For MOBILE HOMES ONLY, Trico requires both county and state  clearance and Trico’s final inspection before energizing your meter.

Some or all of these may be applicable, depending on your  modification of service request:

  • $50.00 Reconnect Fee will be billed on your next bill for any service that is disconnected and reconnected (non-refundable). (See rule 135 of Trico’s current RRLEP).
  • A nonrefundable contribution advance may be required by the Applicant prior to Trico’s construction, for any new facilities and/or labor that Trico is required to provide due to your request.
  • Design & Right of Way fee may be required to prepare detailed plans for large alteration or conversion projects. This paid fee will be applied to the final cost (See Rule 201.B of Trico’s RRLEP’s).

Procedures & Guidelines

Trico Electric Cooperative’s Pole Attachment Procedures & Guidelines includes the processes, procedures, and guidelines necessary for cable and telecommunication facility owners and operators to attach their facilities to overhead distribution facilities (“poles”) owned by Trico Electric Cooperative.

These processes, procedures, and guidelines will facilitate a timely completion of an attachment project with minimal delays or conflicts.

These procedures and guidelines shall at all times be subject to, and are not intended to supersede, amend or replace, the terms and conditions of the required Pole Attachment Agreement between Trico and an occupant.
