Post-Moratorium Payment Installment Program Terms & Conditions
  1. The Post-Moratorium Payment Installment Program is available only during the summer disconnection moratorium period and for a limited time immediately following the conclusion of the moratorium. To be eligible, a Member must enroll in the program before the processing of their first regular bill issued after the end of the summer disconnection moratorium. Enrollment requests received after that bill has processed will not be eligible for this program.
  2. Accounts that are currently interrupted or disconnected for non payment may be eligible for enrollment in the Post Moratorium Payment Installment Program, subject to Trico approval and satisfaction of all program requirements. Enrollment in the program does not guarantee continuation or restoration of electric service. Service may be interrupted in accordance with Trico’s applicable tariffs, policies, and procedures if program requirements are not met.
  3. Upon approval for participation in the program, the Member must remit an upfront payment equal to thirty five percent (35%) of the total past due balance. Enrollment in the program will not be effective until the required upfront payment is received. The upfront payment must be made using cash, credit card, debit card, wire transfer, or Western Union. Payments by check, including e checks, are not accepted.
  4. The remaining past due balance, after application of the upfront payment, will be amortized into five (5) equal monthly installments. Each installment amount will be added to the Member’s regular monthly bill beginning on the first installment due date established by Trico.
  5. Installment payments apply solely to the past due balance and are included on the Member’s regular monthly bill. These payments do not replace, offset, or satisfy current monthly charges. All current charges remain due in full and must be paid by their regular due dates. Each installment payment must be received on or before the assigned due date.
  6. Installment payments are due on the dates specified by Trico and are not subject to grace periods or payment extensions.
  7. Failure to remit any installment payment or required current payment by its due date will result in termination from the Post-Moratorium Payment Installment Program. Upon termination, the remaining account balance will become due and payable in full.
  8. In the event a Member’s participation in the Program is terminated, the account may be subject to disconnection and collection activity, including service interruption, in accordance with Trico’s applicable policies, tariffs, and procedures.
  9. Once a Member is removed from the Post-Moratorium Payment Installment Program due to non payment, additional payment arrangements, extensions, or installment plans will not be available.
  10. Participation in this program does not waive, limit, or modify any rights or remedies available to Trico under its Rules, Regulations, Line Extension Policies, tariffs, or applicable law.
  11. The Member may pay the remaining past due balance in full at any time without penalty, fee, or adverse consequence. Upon payment in full of the past due balance, the Post-Moratorium Payment Installment Program will be considered satisfied.
