With your help through donations to Operation Round Up, The Trico Charitable Trust awarded $35,000 to six non-profit organizations in May 2025. The Arivaca Coordinating Council/Human Resource Group received $10,000, the Marana and Sahuarita food bank and resource centers were each awarded $8,000, while the Amado Resource Center, Corona Cares and the Mt. Lemmon Fire Fighter Foundation received $5,500, $2,000 and $1,500 respectively.
“In the small rural community of Amado, resilience and creativity thrive out of necessity. Our Amado Resource Center serves up to 180 households weekly with help from volunteers, donors, and partners like Trico, who recently supported our organization with a $5,500 grant. Thanks to outstanding partners like Trico, we’ll continue serving our communities as long as we’re needed.”
–Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona: Amado Resource Center, which will use the grant to provide emergency food assistance
“As the need remains high, resources become more challenging. Trico is committed to supporting those in need, and we’re deeply grateful for their generosity, which helps us continue our mission of feeding the hungry.”
–Carlos Valles, Executive Director, Sahuarita Food Bank. SFB-CRC will distribute emergency food to low-income residents in Trico’s service area.
With your participation in Operation Round Up, Trico’s POWER Grants program has provided $875,000 in funding to local non-profit organizations in our community. The Trust is funded through Operation Round Up donations.
